Our standard hood cleaning quote includes cleaning of the fan/s, filters, ductwork (if accessible), kitchen hood - inside and out, back splash down to the equipment line, as well as the cleaning report submission to the A.H.J. (if in an area where required).

Absolutely not! Surprise fees are  a thing of the past. The price quoted is the invoice amount. No additional taxes or fees. If your system requires additional equipment (hinge kit, grease boxes, etc.) we will provide pricing, but will not charge for anything extra without your permission.

At Optimal Hood Cleaning we feel that other companies that offer hood cleaning contracts, is just their way of forcing their services on to you. They'll rope you in for a year contract, do garbage work, charge for unnecessary up sales, and your stuck with them.

Therefore at Optimal, we do not offer service contracts! We want you to be happy with our services and the quality of work we provide.

We do provide emergency hood cleanings for when your system needs done immediately. For a standard hood cleaning we aim to get new cleanings scheduled in the following week. This actual varies of course due to numerous factors. Text us anytime and we'll let you know our next availability. 

This is not required. We are licensed and insured. Everything will be taken care of. Our crew will lock up, turn off the lights, set the alarm, and any other special instructions will be followed to a tee.

Unless other arrangements are made prior to service, we require payment at the time of services rendered. We accept payment via cash, check, card, Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal.  Any payment not received within 24 after the completion of services, will be subject to late fees. 

Currently we only have two continuously running discounts. The first one is for referrals -  Any referral leading to a completed job will save 15% off of your next scheduled hood cleaning. The second is an "After Hours Key Discount". Providing us with a key or lockbox code to service your restaurant after hours, makes scheduling easier on our end, therefore we provide you with an "After Hours Key Discount".

Periodically we will promote random discounts for new customers, end of year specials, and other discounts. Please check us out on Facebook or Google pages for the most up to date news and promotions.  

We recommend the filters are cleaned at least once a week by your kitchen staff. As far as hood cleaning frequency, this varies per location depending on how much cooking, and what type of equipment is being used. Below is a rough guide on cleaning cycles. 

• Charcoal and wood burners - Monthly
• Some Thai, Chinese Restaurants, and heavy use restaurants - Bi Monthly
• Average use & the majority of Restaurants - Quarterly
• Light use restaurants, restaurants without fryers , restaurants not opened all day - 4-6 months
• Pizza ovens and food trucks - 6 months
• Schools, Churches, and very light use facilities - Annual

If you are unsure on the cleaning frequency, we will provide the best cycle for your location at the time of service.

Yes! We report to the A.H.J. where required using The Compliance Engine. The fee for this is already added into your hood cleaning quote, so no need to worry about anything. We have you covered!

Sorry, we do not! We have a $2M insurance policy that covers us for commercial properties only.

For food truck/trailer hood cleaning's, we require the following

• Must be located on a commercial property (Commissaries, connected to a restaurant or grocery store, etc.) Can not be on a residential property.
• Require a water connection (mop sink or hose hook-up)
• Require a designated space to shoot filters & dispose of water
